If you rollover any section with your mouse you will get a drop down menu like the example below. You can click on any of the links below the top navigation. So in this example below DATABASES & RESEARCH you
can click on Databases, Getting Started, Articles, Town Guides, Research Services, External Resources, Online Genealogist, and Forum.

Databases & Research
Under Databases & Research you will find the following categories:
- Databases - Lists all NEHGS databases with links to Alphabetical Listing, By Location, By Record Type and Premium Databases
- Getting Started - How to get started in Genealogy, getting started using our website
- Articles - Lists all articles by location, topic and author. Also includes links to NEXUS archives, enews and online seminars.
- Town Guides - research strategies by state and town
- Research Services - hire our experts to assist with your genealogical research
- External Sources - external links to resources in genealogy
- Online Genealogist - Longtime staff member David Lambert helps assist you with general research questions
- Forum - Talk with other genealogists about your research in our forums.
You can get to any of these categories by using the top navigation shown above or by using the left-hand navigation available in each individual section. Here is an example of how the left hand navigation looks in Databases & Research:
Databases:
The Databases link will give you access to search our online research databases. There are a number of ways to search the databases: by Alphabetical Listing, location, and record type.

The alphabetical Listing will give you a long list of our databases in alphabetical order.
